My iPhone 4 camera quit working. Determined that it was not software by totally resetting back to original. Then I found this inexpensive replacement. I found it pretty straight forward to take the phone apart and replace the back facing camera module. Although dealing with the tiny screws inside is difficult. And you need to really pay attention to each step. Camera is now working. But I am very disappointed in the grainy quality of the pictures. It's better than nothing because I can scan with it again. But it reduces the image quality back to something more on the order of the 3-3G series. So, this is the first review I have ever done. And I'm doing it because I regard the seller's claim of "original" to be false. I will keep looking for a true original replacement, which may require purchasing a dead phone. And at least this provides something in the mean time.
My Smartphone, the first I've owned, is indispensible. Before I'd acquired it I would not have believed that it was a must: absolutely quotidian. To have a resource, in my pocket, so capable of addressing needs, whims, and desires truly is fantastic (if not unimaginable)! After a year and 4 month's service, the shutter on my Iphone 4 refused to open (likely due to exposure of an unfortunate, and miniscule amount of moisture), and I felt a little dispossessed. I had to carry about this wonderfully capable device with a blind eye, please, pardon the pun (poor taste).
With many thanks to YouTube ; Amazon (where this product was purchased) I was able to repair my own Smartphone. More pep in my step as I've seen well to my girths and now ride boldly.
